Scott Kelly - The Wake - European Vinyl on Burning World records
Received a copy of Scott Kelly’s - The Wake. I did the art and design layout for Burning World Records who is in charge of issuing the European vinyl. Gorgeous printing, and pressed on heavy 180 gram gold vinyl. I’ve invested a lot of time in Scott’s music over the years, since I was 15 yrs old when I got Neurosis’ “Pain of Mind” cassette on Alchemy Records in 1988. Nothing but respect for his art. Honored to be involved. The artwork looks great in large format.

On 12.24.09, Paradigms Recordings will be releasing a complication entitled “Death Aesthetics” to which Owlfood contributed a track entitled “Her face looks like a skull” We haven’t heard the rest of the tracks yet but we bet its great. Psyched on the release and working with the great folks at Paradigms Recordings Also hopefully by late December or January 2010, Owlfood will also be a part of a split cassette release with the Californian band Al Qaeda on Obeasttapes. It will be a limited run of 100, along with digital downloads. 6 new tunes documenting a intense year. BEHIND THE DOOR will be re-release the older/out of print CDR’s shortly.
